Belfast City Centre got a taste of the week ahead as the Royal Belfast Academical Institution bade a fond farewell to Year 14 today. To mark an end to their time at Inst the boys celebrated with their own unique take on the upcoming cycle race which will bring global attention to the city. Under the somewhat borrowed title ‘Giro d’Inst’ the Upper 6th students cycled into school wearing the iconic Inst black and yellow colours, accentuated by touches of pink, before enjoying their leavers’ breakfast.
Congratulations to the RBAI Medallion team who have enjoyed a very successful season culminating in a fitting 12-10 win against Ballymena Academy. The team, captained by out half Michael Lowry and coached by Mr Monteith and Mr McMullan, along with staff have all demonstrated exemplary skill and determination throughout the campaign.
