School Commemorative Medal

This replica medal was struck to celebrate the Bicentenary of the school’s foundation in 1810 and was presented to all pupils and staff on Founders’ Day, Thursday, 18^th February 2010.  It is a replica of a bronze medal that would have been presented in the 1830s or 1840s.

Medal Description Card

The medal is available in two boxes.  A luxury presentation cardboard box that has the school 2010 Bicentenary logo stamped on its top or the more basic Eclipse presentation box which was distributed to the schoolboys.  The Presentation box costs an additional £3.  All medals include an explanation and description of the medal and its history.  See the order form below for ordering details.

2010 Ties

We have comissioned  two ties to celebrate the School Bicentenary:

     A black and yellow striped tie with a twill effect and the school logo, with 200 beneath, offset at the bottom right.

     A black tie with thin double yellow stripes with the school logo, with 200 beneath, in each stripe.  

The ties are hand-finished in Northern Ireland by one of the few remaining manufactures and the silk is from an English mill favoured by top brands like Ralph Lauren.Each version is a Limited edition of 200,  1 tie for each year of existence of RBAI.  The ties will be available from mid April.

2010 Polo shirt

 

This polo shirt with the 2010 logo is available from Kukri and can be ordered online at http://www.rbai.kukrisports.com.At present delivery is to the school. In future, we hope to add the option of alternative delivery addresses as requested/required by the customer for a relevant charge. We hope that these shirts will be available for sale at the 2010 sports day at Osborne on May 1^st.
