Other Events

A Historical Exhibition is planned to be on display throughout the year in the W-block at the School. It has been put together by Don Collins, the Recorder and Guardian of the Archives.

The school open morning will be on Friday 30th April, to fit in with the major events of the Bicentenary Concert, Gala Dinner and Sports Day.  All are invited to tour the much changed school.

A Church Bell-Ringing, a quarter peal of church bells will be rung on Thursday 29^th April before the Waterfront Concert at St Thomas church on the Lisburn road.

The Principal’s Ball took place on Friday 12^th February in the Common Hall for Parents of boys currently at the School and was considered a great success by all who attended.

Brian Todd, Vice Principal, is writing a book about the School.    

A Sculpture Garden is Planned as a permanent commemoration of 2010. 

We hope to have a VIP visit at some time during the year. 

Other sporting and cultural School events through the year will have a “2010” theme.
