2010 A Special Anniversary at Inchmarlo
2010 also represents another special anniversary as Inchmarlo celebrates 75 years at Cranmore Park. It was in 1935 that the Head Master John Seymour presided over the move from Marlborough Pk to the bigger premises at Stirling House in Cranmore Park. It was so named after its generous donor Mr JH Stirling who had been a Chairman of the Board of Governors. Inchmarlo are integrating the marking of this event into RBAI's own 2010 Bicentenary Celebrations when there will be a series of events during the year to mark this significant landmark in the history of the school.
All visitors are welcome and exhibitions of photographs and memorabilia will be staged in the Front Hall and Gym with refreshments available in the Dining Room. For full details of Inchmarlo events please vist the Inchmarlo website at www.inchmarlo.org.uk |
