Well done to both the Minor and Senior badminton teams who represented Ulster at the Irish Schools Championship in Dublin on Wednesday 9 March.
The Minor team of Jack Livingstone, Josh Armstrong, Owen McFeely and Ben Callaghan competed in the Division 1, U14 Final against Templeogue, Leinster. This was a very exciting, closely contested match which they drew 3-3 in games and 6-6 in sets, winning by 147-137 on count-back to points to claim the Irish U14 Championship.
The Senior team of Niall Armstrong, Stephen Moss, Mond Parissis and Panda Shuai also faced tough opposition in their U19 Final, drawing 3-3 with both Johnstown School, Leinster and Roscrea College, Munster to finish as runners up in the U19 tournament.
Many congratulations to both teams on their remarkable success and to the U14s on their fantastic achievement of winning both the Ulster and Irish Championships!
