Aiming for the stars

Congratulations to James Kavanagh-Cranston who has beaten off stiff competition from pupils across 27 countries to secure a place at the European Southern Observatory Astronomy camp that is taking place in the Italian Alps between Christmas and New Year.

The camp will explore the theme of Distances in the Universe through several astronomical sessions, including lectures, hands-on activities, and night-time observations with the telescopes and instruments at the observatory.
