On Monday 13th November, five Sixth Form Biology Students took part in the Semi-Final of the 2017 Student Healthcare Debate.
The team of Aneurin Duffin-Murray, Henry Pattison, Angus Adair, Nick Moore, and Dylan Nagar successfully defeated Rathmore Grammar School and will now meet St Mary’s Grammar School, Newry in the final next Tuesday 28th November.
The debating competition is organised and funded by the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust; and representatives from the NHS and Belfast Hospitals form the judging panel. It is an excellent opportunity for future medics and other healthcare professionals; and the boys are enjoying the experience gained.
We wish the group all the very best with their preparations for the final.
