Cricket: Inst Win the McCullough Cup!

The RBAI Cricket Club has once again had a tremendous season, concluding on a high, with the school winning the McCullough Cup Saturday League, defeating Sullivan Upper in the final.

With this competition involving all school cricket teams, from the Under 12 XI right through to the 1stXI, this victory underlines our reputation as the premier school for cricket in Northern Ireland.

Wins against Methodist College, Grovesnor Grammar and Campbell College in the group stages resulted in us going through to the semi-final, where we faced Foyle and Londonderry College.  All teams were victorious resulting in a final against Sullivan Upper School. Despite the weather we managed to get matches eventually played and secure our victory in this competition.

Many congratulations to all the school cricketers at Inst!
