GCSE - Class of 2012

The class of 2012 have an overall pass rate of 94.5% ( 93% 2011-12) with several outstanding individual results. Seventeen students have achieved 10 or more A*/A Grades

Top of the class is Michael Adair with 10A*/1A. The high achievers include – Joshua Alderdice, Rory Bell, Cameron Black, Toby Boyd, Daniel Clements, Tom Coyle, Richard Creswell, Ben Hamilton,James McGalliard, Robert McGibbon, Daniel Platt, Douglas Pola, Andrew Ruddell, Mark Stewart, Kyle Walsh,Matthew Wilson and Fraser Wright.  In addition over 40 boys achieved 7 or more A/A* grades. Congratulations also to Rory Douglas-Smith who was recognised by CCEA with the 2nd highest score in Northern Ireland for Manufacturing.

Congratulations go to all the boys and their teachers on the results and we now look forward to welcoming the boys back to the sixth form.   










Congratulations are also extended to the 6 year 11 boys and to the 7 year 10 boys who achieved A* in GCSE Mathematics – this is a significant achievement and to the credit of the boys and to the Mathematics department: In year 11: Jordan Emerson, Mark Fitzsimmons, Jerome Hannan, Patrick MacAllister, Jamie McIlveen and Kiran Robbin.  In year 10 – El – Tanani Yahia, Helmy Omar, Jack Irvine, Peter Kerr, Benjamin McConkey, Neil McKane and Ben Mellor.  


We are very pleased with this years examination results and we look forward to the new term and to this academic year.
